I had feedback from my tutors. They suggested using the studio for the background. The first photoshoot was good, but the background would be great to clear.

These girls are performance actress students. I took photos of different angles as they could move with their bodies and hands and different expressions which are serious, happy and neutral. Also, I used to flash-gun to create light shadow but not too much shadows or dark. These girls changed two different colours which are black and white. I kind of directed them the way I wanted to take photos and where they looked at. Especially their hair too, accessories/jewellery and using the scarf as well. I think these photos are successful and I am pleased with it.

The brief was about Anatomy. The theme I chose is called Street, which opposite of 'Home'. Three cities I have gone to take pictures are Lewes, Brighton and Portsmouth. I used a black and white film camera. The part of 'spinnaker' was so hard. Before in the darkroom, I developed this photo, and the sky was very white. I asked the technician to find out how the sky should be in the tones, so I had to cover the part of the sky with the cardboard when I started to flash and then let go of the cardboard and started the flash again. I repeated about 4 or 6 times to developed in different ways to get the part of the sky into tones. In the end, finally, the spinnaker produced the tones. It was tough, but at the end, it was successful.

The brief was about Anatomy. The theme I chose is called Street, which opposite of 'Home'. At first, it was hard, and I didn't know what kind of photo I should take. Three cities I have gone to take pictures are Lewes, Brighton and Portsmouth. I used a black and white film camera. The first or second photoshoot- some of them were good, and some of them were a bit blurry. Another photoshoot I went to walk to Old Portsmouth and Hot Wall that someone suggested it to me. I had to make sure that the photo should be a focus. It was a little hard to see in the viewfinder of a film camera if it was a focus.

I had a brief which basically was replicating a strong visual style in terms of using lighting, content and composition to create a striking portrait in the style of acclaimed portrait photographer Richard Avedon.
