The Personal is Polictical/ The Polictical is Personal: BSL PART 3a

THIRD PHOTOSHOOT 

I asked my interpreter again to be my model in the studio. She wondered what colour should she wear and I told her anything up to her. 

I asked her more questions which are why did she learn to sign language and how did she meet me. She answered in her signing while I took photos of her. I told her to explain in sign language about me such born deaf, when did I get cochlear implants, surgery and more as I told her everything about me being deaf. 

I didn’t direct her really, but I took photos of full body and closed up of hands. I am pleased with these photos. I like the model stands against the background very well. It looks it fits each other.

My tutor and I have discussed the feedback. I changed the option which I chose is The personal is Political/ The Political is Personal because I explained a bit about my personal experience in the essay.
