Busy, Relax and Uni

Since back to Uni, I had induction timetable which basically, the lecturers/tutors would tell us what's happening this year and the projects etc.

I was worried about the online meetings so I had emailed my lecturers/tutor about it. I had to try on the caption. They told me it will have recorded and set up the subtitles which were great because I think it's better than using caption on live online without an interpreter. If I had my interpreter, I won't need a caption.

Last few weeks, I had lecturers, seminars and some group tutorial. It was a long day. I was worried about support because last year, I quite didn't enough supports. This time, I spoke to University that I needed another interpreter. While I received the briefs, I had been thinking a lot about it and quite tricky.

I have been meeting my friends that I haven't see which was really nice. I have been going out to buy foods and some things I need for my room. It was kind of strange and weird outside but I hope we all keep ourselves safe.

I had chatted with my friend (the same course as me). We met up with another friend to walk and photoshoots of Southsea

We discussed meeting up with other friends and cooking sushi together.

We all had set up a date and went shopping for ingredients. We went to my friend's house and chatted. One of them has left. While we were cooking sushi, we chatted and listen to music. It was fun and tasty. Sushi was so delicious. Thanks to my friend.

While my friends were discussing the briefs, I was listening to them and got me thinking of ideas. I discussed my ideas and my friend think it was a good idea. She gave me helpful advice.

Some days I got free, I have been watching on Netflix and youtube. I was kind of bored and, it was not like I have nothing to watch, but I just felt I wanted to do something instead of watching. So I have been watching some deaf YouTubers who are Jazzy and Benny Ngo, it got me thinking that I wanted to learn BSL which stands for British Sign Language. The reason was that I was little, I used to sign language to communicate before I came to the UK. I didn't remember I learned sign language or didn't know that but, I wanted to learn sign language because I'm really interested and of course, I wanted to communicate with my deaf friend from my college.

So, I watched youtube to learn sign language and it was fun. I still continue to learning.

If you are bored, find something you want to do, something you always wanted, then do it. I think it's worth your time. It's never too late, it is always the right time whether you're busy or not.
